Faro, the capital of the Algarve, and the nature reserve of "Ria Formosoa" are within a short driving distance. The reserve extends for about 60 km (37 miles) and it is situated directly on the route of birds migrating between Africa and Northern Europe. Within around 20 minutes drive you can be at the beautifully clean sandy gay beach of "llha de Faro" or the seafront promenade of Vilamoura.

Road description
From the highway A22, take exit 13 direction "Loulé Sul" and you will arrive on N125. After about 1 Km, take right direction "Sa Barbara de Nexe" and after about 200 meters, right again and always keep direction "Sa Barbara de nexe". After about 3  Kms you will arrive in the center (Church) of "Sa Barbara de Nexe", go straight, pass the center and follow left, the way to "San Bras-Gorjoes" (petrol station "Petronexe" on the corner), go ahead for about 2 Kms (and 4 sharp turnings) and turn right at the indicator "Casa Crow" (i.e. 50 meters before the café "Le 38").
At The end of the asphalt, continue the gravel road between "Quinta do larla" and "Vivenda do Lovral", follow the brick wall till the end and you will find CASA CHARNECA.
