About What are the characteristics of the properties? Attitude Hotels properties range from small independent properties, including B&Bs and guesthouses, to 5-star quality leisure and corporate hotels. All hotels operating under the Attitude Hotels brand guarantee a warm welcome and high level of service which has been tailored to the needs of gays and lesbians. www.attititudehotels.com allows travelers to book and choose their hotel stays out of 3 categories: Attitude Premium, Attitude Comfort and Attitude Value.
What does "straight friendly" mean? Straight friendly means that an establishment will not discriminate against heterosexuals provided that the guests respect the house rules of the establishment. Most of these properties are gay owned or run by gay staff.
How do I reserve my room? Choose the city you wish to look up for a hotel, enter the dates when you wish to travel and click "submit". This will display the available hotels in the city and dates of your selection and their rates. By clicking "Book now" you will start the reservation process over a secure form that guarantees a safe and smooth transaction. You will then receive a confirmation number on your screen and also an email will be sent to you with the dates and room rate for your records as well as to print as a confirmation letter.
How do I cancel or make changes to my reservations? You can make changes to a reservation booked through Attitude Hotels by clicking on the Amend/Cancellation hyperlinks located on our homepage and in the reservations form. Please note if you cancel not within the time allowed to cancel as stated on your original reservation you may be charged a cancellation fee.
How charges will show on my credit card? Charges on your credit card statement will show the name of the Hotel or the Hotel company you are staying at - there will be no mention to Gay, Lesbian or even Attitude Hotels on your credit card statement.
I am not gay/lesbian - can I still use your site to book accommodation? Yes, of course! The properties defined as "straight friendly" are open to every one and you are more than welcome to visit them regardless of your sexual orientation. Establishments that only cater for gay men or lesbians will indicated as such.
What happens when I am not happy with my accommodation when I arrive at my destination? We have created a three category hotel classification system - Attitude Premium, Attitude Comfort and Attitude Value - to offer you a clear view of choice in quality standards at each of our hotels. We also evaluate each property periodically conducting our evaluations from a guest's point of view in terms of appearance, cleanliness and condition. Our ratings should not be confused with the number of amenities offered or the size of the hotel and we encourage you to consult the hotel's description on our website before you book. If you are not happy with your accommodation when you arrive and wish to cancel your stay, the cancellation policy of the establishment will apply.
